Is there any way to Prevent Diabetes from beforehand?


Diabetes which is referred to as a silent assassin has ballooned into an epidemic across the world and every second person is searching for ways to Prevent Diabetes. In fact there are many methods to Prevent Diabetes from beforehand, some of which I am going to list here.

When your father or mother or a very close blood relative suffers from diabetes, you stand at increased risk of contracting it. So, you should be cautious right from your college days and go through regular health check ups once a year once you hit your forties. This awareness and precautionary measures are in themselves praiseworthy.
That is because, at any given point of time, 20 million people suffer from this deadly disease and yet more than 7 million people do not even know they are suffering from it!
Food habits modification
Some of the most common reasons of diabetes are unhealthy and faulty eating habits, irregular life styles, obesity and lack of exercise coupled with sedentary lifestyle. These are the reasons why so many school going teens are falling prey to diabetes type 1 which is a rather alarming trend.
One of the best ways of keeping diabetes at bay is to give up eating junk food; oily, spicy restaurant food, aerated drinks, cup noodles and various kinds of pre packed pre cooked packaged food items and instant noodles or pasta.
You should therefore include in your diet as well as in the diet of your children plenty of fresh seasonal fruits and veggies. Sugar free home made fruit juices, coconut water and buttermilk are other items to include in your diet as they detoxify the body. You have to drink at least 14 glasses of water daily and crunch on veggies in their raw form. Go for fruits which contain less sugar. For e.g. you can’t eat mangoes or sweets or sweet meats or cakes or pastries or cream rolls.
You can consume cinnamon to prevent diabetes – both borderline diabetes and diabetes type 2. Cinnamon has beneficial properties that can reduce blood sugar levels and keep them in check.
Exercise
The last method to Prevent Diabetes is to lead an active life style and exercise regularly.
